Israelis building a fence so insane people won't murder them

Don't know that much about it, but I can't really blame the Israelis for the wall idea. It's just as valid as any of the other options.

Negotiating doesn't work, and you can't just shoot them all. (tongue firmly in cheek)
 
We should hand out 100,000 Green Cards on the West Bank. The Palestinian problem would disappear in an instant. They'll forsake their precious patrimony to open grocery stores in Detroit. Nobody but a couple of crazy Jews really want to live in that godforsaken desert.

Looks to me that what sealed this deal was the placing of Hammas and Hezbollah in the Palestinan Cabinet.

That was the straw that broke the camel's back.

Fact is that Arafat has been a double-dealing bastard for as long as he's been in a position of pwer. Not one single time has he ever bargained in good faith and not once has he made any affirmative move to curtail the bombings, even to soften the path toward a negotiation. And yet he is still being offered virtually everything he has wanted the whole time.

My own opinion is that the UNited States needs to clear the deck and state, once and for all, that what the Palestinian government has been doing is intolerable and will be dealt with, period. If the Palestinian people object to this, then it looks like they're going to need to elect some new leadership post haste. They put Arafat there now they're going to have to live and die with him. If countries like Egypt and Jordan so much as twtich in protest, then we need to shove that they've been providing these terrorist organizations with financial and military aid right down their throats. The time for nonsense and politics is over. People are dying and we've held Israel back from protecting its own people on a daily basis. it's time to let them do what they need to.
 
Let's see what the new Palestinian state is like when Hamas and Islamic Jihad run the show. If you favor human rights for the Palestinians, don't let them rule themselves!

Well we pretty much killed everybody who got in our way I suppose we could encourage them to follow our lead.

By the way, The Europeans had tobacco before the Indians.

I don't believe that Arafat actually has the power to do anything. His own people certainly don't seem to respect him or follow any of his decisions. He seems to be much more of a "puppet leader" than an actual leader.
 
What amazes me is how so many people twist logic and common sense to make it look like the Palestinians are the victims. You'll also hear them say Cuba is a shithole because of the US Embargo. Certainly not Castro.

The truth is that no one wants the Palestinians- including their Arab brethren. If and when they do get their own country, I'm sure it will be a shining example for the rest of the world to follow.

It is already past the time to act. During the Gulf war, we sent troops to defend Israel from Scud attacks because the Islamic states, who were being attacked by Iraq, didn't want the Israelis to even defend themselves. It is time the countries in the middle east to stop supporting the terrorists, and to help us put them out of business. Israel has shown tremendous restraint with the current situation. If the people over there actually believed in the teachings of their religion, it wouldn't even be an issue. The fact is that they have perverted a peaceful religion much the same as the KKK has. I would like to see true Islamic justice meted out to these terrorists. Being beheaded in a public square does not normally a martyr make.
 
Syria has been raping and occupying Lebanon for 20 years. Why isn't anybody protesting? Because we expect Arabs to act like savages and Jews to act like Jesus.
 
There are victims on both sides. 5 times more innocent people are killed by the Israeli government than die at the hands of terrorist. I am not defending the terrorist. My parents live in Israel. I am Jewish myself. I simply don't see the need for any of this. Give them back their fucking desert. We will return to our borders, build our walls and stop this.

Miles did get one thing right. Leave them to their own devices!
 
What's really frightening------------------

over there is that the Palestinian children have foresaken Pokemon and are now trading necklaces with pictures of the "martyrs" on them. The suiciders and "freedom fighters" are the heroes of the 6 to 14 crowd. A new, and bigger, generation of suiciders. The criminal part is that the parents are not just turning their back on this, they are encouraging it.

My prognostication of the return of the "Old Man of the Mountain" is coming true.

The other problem is that with the wall, Isreal will achieve some security. But I bet that unless we get our act together, this new generation of killers will by applying for visas to the US.

I just can't wait.

I simply don't see peace in the world, let alone that region, until Israel moves out.

And Germany and Japan lost more lives than the Allies during WWII. They started it and we finished it.

The Palestinians are the perps, not the victims.
