How odd. The cat just sauntered into the living room with one of my socks in her mouth.

We have a cat who regularly wriggles herself into our socks. And then goes to sleep in them. And yes, she is full grown but tiny, tiny.

Hmmm..you just keep thinking that, Silver. You just keep thinking that.

is the sauntering odd, or that it's your sock?

She always saunters. She got a sock out of the laundry basket, carried it through the house, deposited it on the carpet and is now laying on top of it. Strange.

Is the sock warm from the dryer?

She's probably just getting herself comfy with it.

I'll be honest--it's laundry that's waiting to be washed. When she was a baby she used to cuddle up with B's dirty undershirts. That's probably why she is the way she is. ;)

I am soooo tired of political ads.

Ahhh..the dirty clothes thing. When one of our cats was little she would bury herself in Rev's dirty clothes. Now, she just has a thing for wriggling into socks. It's weird.

All of our cats like to lie on the clothes in the hamper so if we don't get them put up immediately, they tend to nap on our clean clothes just out of the dryer.

I used to have a cat who did that. He'd steal clean socks, dirty socks, didn't matter. He'd carry them around and trill and want praised, like he'd caught a mouse or something.

At night, he'd drag as many socks as he could out of unemptied laundry baskets. We'd find them all over the house the next day.

Yes! That's exactly what she did. She set it down, and started this little chirping noise she makes, like she was saying, see what I did?!

Nothing like a fews hours work on your day off, especially when it takes all day. Nearly time for a nap before work.

Speaking of sleep, why are you still up. ;)

Thanks Scaly. The great thing about virtual hugs, you can hug as much as you want without the risk of me puking on you as a result.

Good heavens. That was a smoking hot story. I think steam is rising from the wc. Holy shit.
