Hi.

I'm in the middle of one story and have others in progress and am looking for an editor. I've been working with someone, but I think they're swamped, and would like to find someone else as I have stuff waiting.

I turn in clean first drafts, and usually the corrections are verb tense (esp. for flashback type scenes) and occasional wordiness. I also appreciate having someone look out for continuity issues both in character and plot. I have six stories posted if you'd like to check them out first.

I saw your post and wanted to reply because you already use capitalization and punctuation, which would make a story much easier to edit. Please don't hold your breath; it can take literally months to get on the official VE list, which is almost totally useless.

However you are welcome to post on the monthly "available editor" threads which are stickied on the top of this forum, but please don't put an email address on there. First contact via Private Messages is the preferred method here. Then emails can be exchanged privately. This is actually to protect you from spam as anyone can read your postings and web crawlers collect email addresses automatically.
