I want to do a your basic deserted island thread. It's something that has peeked my interest thanks to a couple of horror novels I've been reading. I thought about a couple of ways of doing it and no matter how many times I think it through I can't think of a way to put a murderer with these people and still keep it fair to the players. I wouldn't want to kill off people and end up hogging the thread or something. But I figure it can be played by ear.
Here is how these folks got trapped.
A group of friends (ages 18-28), took a cruise together. It was supposed to be a fun trip to a tropical Island over winter break. A way to beat the icy winter days of their college hometown. But while they are on shore of this beautiful island, the anchor rope is shreaded by the coral reef under water and the bost ends up slamming into the side of a rock formation in the water and sinks leaving them trapped with no cell phones, no radios no nothing. They all figured they wouldn't need them for a simple picnic on the beach.
My character:
Jake Owens
Age: 19
Jake was the outsider of the group. He wasn't really attached to any of the people except Lindsey who really invited him as a way of thanks for his help throughout the semester on some really tough assignments. He accepted thinking that maybe Lindsey was starting to like him and it could be like a date. His hopes where shot down when Lindsey's boyfriend Todd turned out to be coming along. Todd was a nice guy, although Jake hated him, more for getting to fuck Lindsey while he was left only being a "friend", than anything else. He kept pretty much to himself throughout the trip, athough he hung out for a while during meals and got along with everyone....mostly.
Character list:
Lindsey and Todd - boyfriend and girlfriend. (you can describe them however you see fit along with any of the other characters. I'm just giving y'all a list and their relationship to each other.)
Sarah and Micheal - married high school sweethearts but the relationship is rocky.
Jessica and Julie - best friends that get teased about being lezies but they insist they're not.
Joe - Julie's brother and only single guy aside form Jake.
