Is Zohran Mamdani potentially Winning in NYC Only Because He's Hot?

I've been following the NYC mayoral race. Even the NY Times and Chicago Tribune think Zohran Mamdani is totally unqualified for mayor yet he's doing well given he's never really held a job and has extremely radical positions. I think he's doing well only because he's HOT. What's your opinion?
