Is Your Relationship Monogamous or Not?

For those of you who are married or living together, is your relationship monogamous or non-monogamous? Have you discussed this issue specifically with your spouse/SO and do you agree? Or do you feel you have an unspoken agreement?

Are you non-possessive--that is comfortable with the idea of your spouse/SO having other sexual partners or is this idea totally unacceptable to you?

Have you been unfaithful to your spouse/SO? Do you know/suspect that a partner was unfaithful to you now or in the past? How did you handle it--discuss it rationally, leave them, etc.

Discussed and agreed, monogamous, (34 years and counting). It was rocky at times, but we weathered the storms.

For me and my S/O we had talked about it, and we are going on 5 years togather now, we had our ups and downs, we talk about everything when the time is right, We both found out the hard way that the truth will hurt , a lie will kill your feelings in a heart beat. So we both tell it like it is, and we don't hold back.
P.S. We both have our Lovers, and are good friends with them.

My s/o and I have discussed this subject many times and we both have lovers. His lover has joined us in a 3some on many occasions. I am going away this weekend with my lover and with the blessing of my s/o.

Good to see I am not the only one. I will not get in to a 3 sum , with my S/O lover, for I don't like her in that mannor. We have had others we had though.

Personally, my wife and I strive to be monogamous but both of us have slipped up once that I know of--not perfect, but not bad in 30+ years of marriage.

I am not possessive or particularly jealous so dealing with my wife's infidelity was not so tough--also, it was a one-night stand, many years ago. However, she is extremely possessive and jealous and it having a very hard time dealing with an affair she discovered three months ago. I'm not sure our marriage is going to survive this.

we arent living together, etc but we are still strictly Monogamous
