So I’ve been a long time fan of the stories here, but I only recently started writing my own. (I’ve got five up with another pending.)

I’ve found that the thing that gets me the hardest and horniest now is writing. Maybe it’s reliving the past with some true stories or writing about certain fantasies, but I am finding that writing is what I need to do to really get off and cum hard.

Some of this worries me. Will I not be able to be satisfied properly in other ways? Had sex with my wife last weekend (an incredibly rare occasion that I’ll share if others want to know), and I didn’t cum with her. While certain fetishes looking at porn or reading stories helps me get off, I find lately that it all fails in comparison.

Any advice to anyone that’s had similar “problems”? Should I stop writing?

The writing is for me more than any audience, and while I get pretty good ratings, I know nobody would miss my writing. I love feedback but don’t get much at all.

Writing is great . For me I think it's the time leading up to writing. I'll think of an idea in my head and keep expanding on it. Sometimes to the point where it has my dick leaking. Eventually I'll get it written but then the fun is gone till the next idea cums

Basically, yes it is!
I’ve been a fan of Literotica and online porn for years.
I recently started to retell my pegging experiences. I have found the act of retelling highly stimulating. I found I was very arroused and leaking copious amounts of precum. Several times I have had to stop writing to masturbate. I now get arroused from reading comments on my stories and Forum chats with readers. Please read my series https://www.literotica.com/series/se/sissy-husband-pegging-party . Enjoy. 😉

While I am not a writer (not in my skill set) I do enjoy being on lit and posting. I have learned a great deal here from many of you writers and it seems to be an amazing outlet of creativity and fun. Some of the creations here definitely can get us super turned on without a doubt.

I agree that reliving the past in written form is fun, I had no idea. Out of that past are many fun 'what ifs' such as, I love to know what went on in my wife's head when she was in her college sex crazed days. It is fun to type out potential thoughts and ask her which ones were possibly floating around up there. Best part is, I am discovering it is a big help getting her to talk more. Thank you writers on lit. :)

You mentioned your concerns about normal sex for example with your wife verses writing and engaging your mind more while I assume masturbating, why not do both? Write things out that about how you'd like to be with your wife, and then play them in your mind when the two of you are together. Better yet, if she is open to hearing your writing, share it with her while playing sexually. I'd love to do more of this with my wife, but baby steps. Though I do not write stories, I do write thoughts, ideas, and what I mentioned above. It is helping her get back to talking sex with me, yes, still baby steps. The process and journey is becoming fun the more we do it. I think yours could be as well if you can find a way to let your wife in on it all, of course slow, calm, and steady. Lol - it might freak her out if you begin with a giant Ogre kidnapping her to have play time. I have no idea why that popped into my head but hopefully you get what I mean.

You write for fun, attempt to share that fun with your wife, albeit carefully. Sharing is fun, from what I see on lit that is why people do it.
