Would have been nice if they had asked, but really as long as they aren't getting paid I'm okay with it. Mockingjay and some numbers I can't recall is the name of the poster. Four of mine that I could see and probably a bunch of y'alls too.

How did you find out that your stuff was being plagiarized? I worry about people stealing my work myself, especially since I'm actually trying to make money from it on Patreon. Any tips on ways to see if one's work is getting redistributed by someone else?

Google the titles once every few months. I only check my good ones, no one in his right mind would steal the shitty ones.

No money on Wattpad unless it says it’s a paid story. Report it to Wattpad and they’ll take it down really quickly. They’re good about that.

Thanks for the advise. However, I decided to try just putting my novel chapters there myself. I figured that it must be possible if someone is posting anything from here at all, to put erotic fiction on there. Since my own novel slants more towards 'erotic romance' than 'dirty-dirty porn', I'm hoping they find it reasonable to list there. I figure, the more places my work is, the harder it will be for anyone to steal it.

Speaking of which are there other places I can/should be putting my work on? I have no motivation to make money off of this but it's always nice to have your work be seen and interacted with (except when it isn't). Any you would recommend?

Literotica is by far the biggest/highest reader based site - but it's a little uncool to post details of competitor hosting sites to Lit. I think the last time someone did that, the thread was removed.

Yes, but what EB66 posted.

Some bots steal ALL my stories including the shitty ones, how-tos and essays. They usually take only the first Lit page including my note 'copyright oggbashan'.

They just want content to draw users in. Why anyone would want to put one of my stories on a site for Japanese Anal Fisting Teenagers, I'll never know?

Omg, really? I’m way to innocent. I really have to broaden my horizons. After I clean the coffee of my screen.

I have visions of you stumbling on your story there while you were browsing around the Internet.

I searched some phrases from my stories and the names, found them (including my screen name) on some sites that I wasn't going to even click onto they seemed so sketchy. "corgie.notvirus.au.sc" type of addresses. Sketchy like the remnants left behind of fisted Japanese Teenagers fisting Japanese Puffins. The only one I was brave enough to click actually linked back to the real Literotica site so I didn't complain.

Isn’t it, though? I did a tickling-fetish story, Just Say Their Names, in which one of the players used a new type of tickling device he’d invented. To my surprise, it got discussed (WRT how to make it) on reddit. Blew my mind.

I am struck by those weird bot websites with my writings on them too. They are weird.

I feel that people can steal all kinds of stories. One of my worst ones was stolen and someone changed the names to make it into a fan fiction of some TV-show. Bad stories are not safe.

I also have someone making 3d stuff that is clearly based on some of my work. I guess that classifies as fan fiction of my work so I just have to accept the person is a big fan. Only shame is that they are making some very nice money from it.
