Hello Volunteer Editors of Lit. I'm looking for an editor to assist with a new submission I have just completed.
The story is about 5,000 words, and could fall into the loving wives, group sex or fetish categories (among others). This will be my 6th submission to Lit, and my ratings have been decent, so I guess I possess at least a modicum of competence. Check my sig line below if you want to see what you're potentially getting into.
The story concerns a man who attempts to arouse his sleepy wife with a fantasy of his exploits with another couple. It is, in my opinion, complicated, if not downright confusing in structure, and I'm looking for help with that, both in determining the proper editing and punctuation, as well as editing for structure if necessary.
If any of you would be interested in taking on this assignment, please let me know (by PM or posting a reply) and I will email a word document or other format of your prefence.
As an aside, I will note that I have used the VE contact form on the site to approach approximately a dozen potential editors, and so far have received only two responses, neither of whom is currently available to edit. So I'm really hoping that the readers of the Editor's Forum will come through for me.
