Is this unusual?

I submitted another story 5 days ago-yes it was during the rejected story thing-and it hasn't been rejected or approved or anything. It's been pending for 5 days! Is this unusual? I C&P'ed it to the website (for some reason Lit doesn't like my Word docs), so it's not a downloading issue. Any one have any ideas? I'm getting anxious! It's my first masturbation piece.
Edited to add-it has 3 views, so I know it's been looked at.

Nothing unusual about it, hon. The norm for story postings when there isn't a seasonal contest running is a week to two weeks. During contest time, the acceptance rate seems to fall behind. No worries, just an extra helping of patience.

It's perfectly normal. At times like these, contest entries get ahead in line, so regular entries may get a bit delayed.

Whatever you do, don't click the "pending" link. Every time you do, it resets and send you back to the bottom of the pile.

Well, if you do hit "pending" you must hit "submit" again, or else it will stay in limbo forever. Just avoid hitting anything at all for a few days.
