Howdy to all, long time member of Lit wondering if it is at all possible to change names here without needing to go back and get all posts again.

I know of a couple of people who have done it. You need to pm one of the site managers (Laurel or Manu) and ask nicely. It's not something they want to spend all day doing for everyone who changes their mind, but I'm sure they won't mind obliging you.

It is possible, but only by convincing Laurel or Manu to make an exception to their general policy of not doing such things.

Technically, in vBulletin it is something that has to be done by a high-level moderator or an Administrator and to the best of my knowledge, there are only two people here at Lit with the necessary access level and over a million forum members to deal with.
