Is this Normal?

Ok i have a little concern.
Lately whenever i reach climax i always need to visit the bathroom . Shortly after or sometimes immediately after cumming i get a huge urge to urinate, even if im still hard and pissing through a stiff member, as most guys will tell you can be quite painfull.

I never really noticed when it started but now its happening virtually every time.
Should i be concerned?

I wouldn't be terribly concerned, because there are many benign reasons why you have an urge to urinate after a climax.

However, there are some not so benign reasons as well, so a visit to your doctor for check-up would be a good idea. Diabetes and prostate enlargement are two conditions that can cause your symptoms, and I'm sure there are other possible causes too.

Most likely, your bladder muscles are just not as strong as they used to be, so you feel the need when you used to ignore it. Urinating after sex can actually be healthy as it cleans the urethra. Usually, but not always, an enlarged prostate causes frequent urination, but not much flow. If you are passing a decent amount of urine, and it isn't discolored with blood or anything, it probably isn't a problem.

However, asking your doctor can't hurt.
