All of them seem sinister though...editor is just too similar to 'enforcer'...'terminator'...

The 'editor' finally stepped off the plane. The assembled mafia bosses moved back a step as if blown by the darkening clouds that ushered in her arrival...dum dee dum!

Oh. Oh. Oh. Can't breathe.

Damn! I was taking a break (yes, I'd taken complete leave of my senses and started another long and meandering tale of a little tail) and saw this as I read this thread over... and cracked a rib leaning over the arm of my chair laughing.

"First he was 'The Terminator'. Then, he was 'Eraser'. Coming this Summer to a theater near you, the Governator retakes the big screen by storm in 'The Editor'"

"... reminiscent of his efforts in 'Commando' but with the raw emotion of 'Collateral Damage'..." - Hollywood Hot Dish

"I'm back." - Arnold Schwarzenegger

Calloused against the cries of whimpering authors, bearing a pen capable of cutting entire chapters in a single stroke. Your hallmark is the sinister laughter that precedes your first, deepest cut.

Okay, maybe not.

I do love my red pen. That, and shouting "NO NO NO NO NO" when the material I'm editing is particularly bad.

(Tech editing only; I've never had to do that with Literotica authors, although that's partly because I'm selective about who I edit. There's only so much I'll put up with for free ;-)
