I have submitted many stories to Literotica and they have come back for something as simple as a comma missing or no reason at all.

Can someone tell me does this story have potential?

Meeting Tonya

I had just started working in the hood and noticed this sweet young black lady working across the street.

She said hello and smiled at me. Her smile warmed my heart.

It had been awhile since a woman had been able to do this since my last girlfriend was a bitch.

I introduced myself and she said her name was Tonya.

Since I was new, I didn’t want to come on to strong the first month or so

Finally after 3 months I asked her to lunch and she accepted my offer.

We went to a local Deli and we spent almost 2 hours getting to know each other.

Talking to Tonya was great, I felt like a weight had been lifted.

We made arrangements for dinner one night after work.

We went out one weekend to dinner and a movie.

I hugged Tonya at her door, kissing her cheek was about as far as she would allow me to go.

If and when I was allowed to get into her panties it would take me more then 3 or 4 dates.

After one date we walked along the beach and held hands as we walked.

Her soft hand felt good in mine,

We sat and watched the moon rise over the water. She placed her head on my shoulder and I put my arm around her shoulder

Soon we were kissing and my hand slid down the front of her blouse.

I unbuttoned her blouse and soon my hand slipped inside her bra. I felt her nipples become erect under my fingers.

She pushed away from me. “Not here “

She took my hand and we went across the street to her condo.

We undressed each other and soon we were on her bed. Our hands exploring our bodies. I was soon between her legs, tasting her sweet juices

Her hips started to push harder into my face as I sucked her harder. Her juices exploded on my face.

She lay there breathing hard and then her hand reached down and stroked my raging hard on.

She pushed me down on the bed and then sucking my balls, cock and sliding her tongue inside my pee slit.

I grabber her head and held it there. Her head bobbed up and down on my hard shaft

She stopped sucking me and then straddled my body.

She slid my cock inside her and rode me hard

Her cunt muscles squeezed my cock.

Faster and faster she slammed down on my cock

I was bucking back fucking my Nubian beauty.

I came inside her.

She slid off me and lay next to me, stroking my chest hair

We kissed and fell asleep

If that is your whole story, then it was rejected for word count. The minimum is 750. Yours is 450. It's also a good idea to run any potential story by an editor so they can check spelling, grammar, and punctuation for you. :)

I just wanted to add...

...that if you are serious about posting stories at Lit you may wish to come back and at least read the threads you've started (if not reply to them).

In your first thread, twelve people replied to you offering their advice (and opinions on why you may have had your stories denied from the site), as well as offering to help you with editing.

Just a little friendly advice of my own here!

Hi Mick

If you are serious about your writing, you may want to look into doing a writing course or read some books about how to improve your writing.

Some elements which are present in good fiction include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Conflict
  • Character development
  • Dialogue
  • Descriptive language
  • A well-developed setting and sense of place
  • A lack of cliches. (For example, it would be preferable to find an alternative way to say "Her smile warmed my heart." or "I felt like a weight had been lifted." as this is cliched language.)
  • A mixture of sentence structures to avoid monotony

There are thousands of texts available on how to become a better writer. The Elements of Style by William Strunk, Jr. is a classic, which is now available in full for free online at http://www.crockford.com/wrrrld/style.html. After doing a quick search on Amazon.com I found the following titles, which you may also find useful: How to Write It: A Complete Guide to Everything You'll Ever Write by Sandra A. Lamb, How Not to Write: The Essential Misrules of Grammar by William Safire and How to Write Short Stories by Sharon Sorenson. I haven't read any of the listed publications, so I can't give my opinion, but if you check out your local library, I'm sure you'll be able to track down one or two of those titles and try them out for yourself.

PS I hope this post does not violate any of the rules about linking to or advertising other sites. If a moderator reads the above paragraph and finds any of it objectionable, please let me know and I will retract it. Thanks.
