Okay... I know I said earlier that I was going to stay out of this Battle of the Sexes, but it's crossed the line. I now have had several people writing me saying they are no longer going to be a part of this BB because of they are tired of this little war.

I don't want to hear "They said it first!" or "She/He started it!" I've read the posts, and feel that both sides are behaving badly. That would be fine, except that quality people are being driven away by the juvenile behavior on display here. I've tried to ask nicely several times. This time, listen to me closely - ENOUGH! STOP! NO MORE!

No more personal attacks. No more complaining about other people's attitudes. No more complaining about the sexism/racism in other people's posts.

I've work 8-9 hours a day on this site in addition to everything else I do. This is my love. It may or may not matter to you, but I will be absolutely heartbroken if this board becomes a ghost town because everyone gets tired of reading these pointless personal attacks. STOP IT. Move on. I'm dead f**king serious.

In addition to this rebuke from Laurel, there were over 30 threads on incest in the first 6 months ( with LOTS of support for the posters ). Where EXACTLY are those good old days that I hear folks pining for?

That's exacly the POINT! Everyone on the board IS different, so STOP attacking those who are different from you! The fact that someone is crass and insensitive, is NOT justification for that crass and insensitive person to launch personal attacks against ANYONE else!

I, for, one, came to the board for two reasons: to engage in intelligent conversation on interesting topics, and to have fun with anonymous flirting and sexuality. For example, the thread on "what panties are you wearing" was fun because I got to tell everyone I just happened that day to be wearing crotchless red panties in honor of our fourth wedding aniversary. That anonymous flirting made me feel pretty and sexy and naughty, and I loved it. But then there are mean-spirited threads that just go on and on with junior-high level name-calling, and lately even threads on intelligent or fun or sexy topics get hijacked by the trolls and detriorate into meanness. I left the board for a few days, but I missed the good parts of it TOO much, and I got a lot of emails encouraging me to come back, and not to let the trolls win.

Laurel is right, no matter HOW evil your peronality is, there is NO excuse for personal attacks on the BB. If that is your thing, please, just start your OWN web site where you can attack each other day and night, and leave Laurel and Manu's site alone!

No obsession at all with incest threads. But for nearly two weeks several someones WAS getting bashed over the posting of and support of incest so I am just dragging up some of the old threads that presented a more even-handed handling of the posts on incest, and some that beg to reflect those "GOOD OLD DAYS"

There are a few more posts that I'll drag up later that have nothing to do with incest at all. Why? just to point out the silliness of attitudes displayed here recently. Consider it a lesson in good behavior. Of course if you are not in need of the lesson(s) then let it roll off your back. Which is the whole point!

And NO I AM NOT the board police. I am simply fed up with the attacks that seem to be common place here along with the two-faced attitudes. So, since I am a teacher by trade, I thought that I'd do what I do best.
