'And it's a simple new rule that if you invade an innocent sovereign country, and you kill innocent men, women and children, you don't deserve to live. That's the bottom line.'

'Now currently the U.S. operates under a decades-old executive order signed by [former President] Gerald Ford that prohibits the U.S. government employees from engaging in political assassinations.

'And I'm like, 'You cut the head of the snake off and you kill the snake. Right now the snake is Vladimir Putin,' Hannity added.

The DOJ simultaneously unsealed a grand jury indictment against him, accusing Hanick of knowingly engaging in business dealings with Malofeyev, who had been formally sanctioned by the U.S. government for his role in financing Russia-backed soldiers in eastern Ukraine who have violently tried to break off from the democratic country since 2014.

The indictment also accuses Hanick of lying to FBI agents about his travels to Greece and Bulgaria to expand the TV network in 2015 and 2016, when he was interviewed by American investigators last year in New York City.

so hannity's suggesting America disregard the ages-old terms of not assassinating political personages

if putin's to be assassinated–better he be held accountable for war crimes–then it should be by his own or Ukraine rather than America, though who knows what covert operations occur

what kind of message would it send to the crazier Americans (of whichever political leanings) that they no longer have to abide by the 'no assassinations' rule when it comes to presidents, encourage assassination, even? (visions of Abe Lincoln, the Kennedys and more)
