I just had a private message from a new member that was a come-on for sex. Tempting though this might appear, somehow I doubt my physical assets are the attraction. I thought if you weren’t aware of this sort of use on the bulletin board, perhaps you would want to be.

We occasionally get pledged with PM spam. Forward the message to laurel with the topic tag of spam. It should disappear shortly but there may continue to show you have a new message until the system catches up with the fact that the account was deleted.

Use The Ignore Feature

Go to their profile and click on:

"Add 'username' to Your Ignore List"

If you report the spam, laurel does away with the account. Adding them to your ignore list is a waste of time and will disappear when she gets around to doing the delete.

At the bottom right corner of the PM, click on forward instead of reply. Type in Laurel and a name menu will drop down, Click on the top one. Change the topic heading to spam so Laurel will notice it faster and send.
