Hi, all ^_^ *waves*

Is anyone familiar with a thread that has Lit's acceptable HTML? So far, I've been going by T/E. Somethings, like fonts and certain characters, come up in preview but not in the published post.

I did some searching for such a thread, but apologize in advance to anyone frustrated that I didn't search exhaustively.

Thanks for any help!

To the best of my knowledge, there is no comprehensive thread with official recognition that lays out what you can and cannot do.

Ask Laurel by PMing her on the forum.

Thanks for any help!
<i>italics</i>
<u>underline</u>
<b>bold</b>
<center>center</center>
<br> (sometimes)
&nbsp& (maybe)
<a href="xxx">LIT story address</a> (mention in Notes)

Nothing else. No fonts except what's in your basic character set. Not tables or lists. A linefeed generates two linefeeds.

Thank you thank you thank you! And Laurel even lists what's allowed/ not allowed!
Her 2013 post:
We allow bolds, italics, underlines, blockquotes, and centered text. We do not do indentation, tabs, justified text, font face/color/size changes, formatted indices, boxes, columns, tables, or background color changes.

People read Lit on a variety of devices, as well as through our Android App. We need text to be as easy to read on as many platforms for as many people as possible.
Keep in mind that the Android app, which may be how most readers see LIT stories, does NOT render HTML tags. So keep it simple.
