Is there a way to make "updates" or "bulletins" for my readers?

Hi all, I'm a fairly new writer here still learning many of the ropes here at Literotica, so you'll have to forgive me if I ask a fairly ignorant question.

I've got a series going right now called "Barry's Sluts", which is a BDSM/Incest/Group Sex series. That series is itself a spin-off of an earlier series. Now, I find that it would be easier for me to write if I spun off from Barry's Sluts as well (I have a TON of characters and writing about Barry's adventures limits me fleshing them out).

I plan to continue Barry's Sluts, but before I do so, I need to tell a few sidestories. However, I already told my readers that my next chapter is going to be "Barry's Sluts III", so I don't just want to drop a completely different story on them and have them yelling "What The Shit!?".

So I want to know: is there a way I can kind of update my readers using, like, the "Reviews and Essays" category or something? How can find out if they even know I've posted it? Does favoriting an author come with alerts or something?

Sorry for all the questions, but like I said, I'm new at this. Thanks for any help in advance.

Your best bet right now is to update your homepage the bio part. That is how most people who favorite you know that you have something new out. Write what you have just written here and explain it as best you can so they know what is going on.

Some people check the bios some do not so how many will get the info I have no idea but it's really all you can do. A lot of your readers that follow incest and a lot of BDSM are anonynous so can't even see that page so you're not going to reach everybody no matter what.

Another thing a lot of writers do and I have done recently is to set up a blog on Tumblr or another site and post that link on your page. You can post updates and they can ask questions and you can respond publicly to them.
