Is there a Erotic/Non-Erotic Quota?

I'm a new writer and I have a story pending that's a non-erotic setup for future erotics. (About a nice guy who discovers his biological father was a famous legacy-obsessed serial rapist with fans in all the dark corners of the internet, so he decides to fight fire with fire as an internet fetish pornstar.)

[Shameless Plug for my upcoming "Son Of The Minotaur" series]

I also have a series of stories that aren't appropraite for kiddies but not erotic either and I'd like to post them. (Epic Hero High-Fantasy meets Film Noir as a rising star elven assassin decides to give his first pro bono hit to avenge a raped and murdered little girl that just happened to look like the sister he lost long ago. Along the way a journey begins that may lead to the salvation of himself and the wicked city he calls home.)

[Shamless Plug for the possible upcoming "The Saint" series]

My question is, is there a minimum number or ratio of erotic stories to non-erotic stories I have to post? I'm not seeing much either way.

Welcome. :)

There aren't any requirements on how many stories per category an author must post.

Good luck with your writing!

Nope. You can post as many stories or poems in any category you like.

You might want to read through a few stories in the Sci Fi, Non-Human, and Fetish categories and see if your stories might be a better fit there than in Non-Erotic. They might appeal to the readers of those categories more than in the generic Non-Erotic category.

Welcome! Lucky said it all.

When deciding what to catagorize them I just kept it simple.

No Fukkin', then not erotic. They talk about it, but in "The Saint" series and in the "Son Of The Minotaur" series as of now nothing has happened.

I admit, there are moments where it doesn't take much to make the leap imagination wise, but so far it's usually been statements-of-history that never went any deeper.

Just be prepared for an underwhelming number of readers. Non-Erotic is not a very trafficked category on this site.

Fine by me.

Everyone that's read any of "The Saint" series has loved it but it doesn't get many readers anyway.

Pardon my ego, but maybe I'll be the one to change that perhaps?

To reiterate what others have said, you can write all non-erotic stories if you want but you won't get very many readers, unless you are able to build a big fan base. You can write erotic literature or stroke stories like I do. There are limits on what you can include but I will assume you have already been over them.

The Saint, AKA Simon Templar, is a famous literary character. Are your stories related to him?

Yeah, I know. Readers came here to read about fukkin' and I do plan to contribute because I'm that awesome of a guy.

And no, The Saint is not Simon Templar. It's a little piece in the "Swords and Sorcery meets Gritty Film Noir" genre with themes of Revenge vs Justice, Spiritual Rebirth, and finding what's worth fighting for. The main character is a elven rising-star in the world of assassins named Heian Nailo who finds the body of a raped and murdered little girl that by freak chance look a lot like the sister he lost almost a hundred years before. To honor his sister's memory he decides to give his first pro bono hit so that this time at least the killer doesn't get away with it. Along the way he remembers just what innocence really is, and discovers why it's worth fighting for. Or in his eyes, worth killing for.

XY: I believe that earned the full Ba-dum ching. Good show.
