I have no proof. But I just want to know what everyone thought. I do know that the NBA is fixed but that's another thread for later.

NFL fixed?

I didn't realize it was broken. Guess that's what I get for not being a sports fan. :)

NFL

SC, You're so fucking droll......... ;)

The reason it came to my attention was the unpredictability factor of the NFL versus college ball. Has anyone on the board seen a stat. showing how well the point spread is picked in the pro. ball. I know the object is to be 50/50 and get the money early in the week, so you can clean up on the juice (SC, the juice is not what you're thinking).

can you fix it

Maybe. I'm thinking maybe with the refs, but again I don't know or have proof. Wondering if anyone did. Basketball, however, is rule bound and let's just say, open to constant interpretation.

Oh, how quiant! I'm droll! :D

Nah, all joking aside, I don't follow sports. I think I'd rather have all my teeth pulled while wide awake and with no numbing agents than sit through a football game. The only good thing about it is the guys in tight pants. Otherwise, I avoid it like the plague. :)

I don't KNOW about fixing any major league sport...but my thought on the subject would be that if you were going to fix it, you would work with the players or the coaches.

Having an "off" day could be easily faked and if the other team knew what your plays were to be, they could make sure you didn't score.

I don't know much about sports....but I would say this is totally possible.
