To be honest, sometimes I get the vegetarian bean chili at Whole Foods because it's a dollar cheaper. And I get my own ground beef or ground chicken or maybe even get shrimp and crab meat and I add my own meat to the mix.

Tastes mighty fine. Use it for tacos, put it over nachos with some mozz...I don't mind the beans at all.

Might do that for eats again when the heat eases off a little.

You need some starch. Only Cincy style have I had with spaghetti. Generally rice, preferably basmati.

Think of it less as "shrimp chili" and more like a very thick and dense seafood gumbo.

*laughing* I work with a nice old guy who married a very backwoods Louisiana woman. She makes the best gumbo in the world, it takes her 24 hours to make a proper pot of it. "More if'n I gotta slaughter the piglet" (she hand-cubes bacon fat to put in it).

Man I hate to agree.....shrimp is just out of the question in Chili, thats like , fusion chili...or something
