Is my power supply enough for a single Radeon HD 5970?

I've collected enough PC parts to build a whole computer, with the exception of the graphics card, operating system, and anti-virus software.

I was also considering upgrading my motherboard to the ASUS P6T Deluxe V2, as well as 6GB of 1600 MHz DDR3 RAM.

My setup is as follows.

Core i7 930
ASUS P6T SE X58 motherboard
6GB DDR3 1333MHz RAM
Corsair TX850 850W power supply
Coolermaster HAF 932 case
DVD-ROM
2TB Hitachi 7200RPM HDD
ZALMAN CNPS9900 CPU heat sink and cooler
ATI Radeon HD 5970 (not yet purchased)
Windows 7 HP 64-bit (not yet purchased)
Norton AV 2010 (not yet purchased)

Is my 850-watt power supply enough to power a single ATI Radeon HD 5970 (currently the fastest graphics card money can possibly buy) as well as the rest of my PC?

Should I buy a 1KW (1000W) PSU just for good measure?

I can't find this goddamn GPU for sale at ANY retail store. I guess I'm forced to buy it off of newegg.com
