hows this for tomorrows meal plan?

1 cup rice crispies and 1/4 cup whole milk (I'm out of soy milk and my parents buy whole milk >.< probably 110+40 so around 150 calories)

banana (109 calories)

light wheat veggie "turkey" sandwich with a slice of tomato (80+100+5=185 calories)

1 cup cantaloupe (53 calories)

2 cups stir fry veggies (probably 150 calories)
1 cup white rice (205 calories)

cottage cheese and a peach (90+42= 132 calories)

8 glasses of crystal light (40 calories)

1024 calories...is that enough?

Rice Crispies, and similar, are empty calories. They'll spike your blood sugar and won't keep you full or nourish you. Keep them as an occasional treat, or maybe have them for a snack once a week or something. A quality breakfast is important to get your metabolism going.

You don't have to have tofu with dinner, just some protein and whole grains.

Crystal Light has a lot of junk in it. Maybe have one glass as a treat at night (don't eat anything several hours before you go to sleep), but stick to water with lemon or lime and maybe some decaf iced tea (make it yourself, no sugar, but a little splenda and lemon is fine) as much as possible. You want to get all of the stuff that's making you feel bad out of your body, not put more in.

You said you're taking vitamins, but what about a Calcium Citrate/Magnesium/Zinc supplement? A deficiency of those can cause major cravings, and we need a good supply of all three to be healthy.

Add some more veggies throughout the day if you're getting hungry. Do you like baby carrots, celery and spinach salads?

Perhaps you should seek advice from a professional in the field of nutrition.

Or try asking your doctor maybe, or a nurse at the free clinic down the block...hell, a random homeless person begging for change in front of the local liqour store is going to give you more sound council than you will ever get here.

I don't know if there is or not. Usually multis don't have as much as we need, and calcium is often calcium carbonate, which is hardly absorbed (google 'calcium citrate vs. calcium carbonate').

If you have a little money, buy some Source Naturals 500mg Decaf Green Tea tablets online as well. They have a ton of antioxidants for overall health, and enough EGCG to help increase the metabolism (according to clinical studies, and most GT supplements don't have enough, which is why I'm mentioning the specific brand), reduce blood sugar spikes and cut hunger a little.

It's not a magic pill or shortcut, just something that's really good for you and will help support your healthy diet and exercise. Read about the benefits online, and you'll be amazed. My immune system has vastly improved since I started taking them, too. I think they're about $8 for a 60 day supply (at least I take 2 a day, but one's sufficient), so you can afford it easily by cutting back here and there.

I'm not big on supplements, but the Cal/Mag/Zinc and Green Tea have given me and a lot of others tangible results, so they're definitely worth it. Of course you should check with your doctor or pharmacist to make sure there won't be interactions with your other meds.

The multi I take has EGCG in it...its that one-a-day weight smart...so is that good enough?

Durrrrrrrrrrrrrr, trying reading the label to find out what percentage of the recommended daily value it contains.

Oh, wait, that would require you to *gasp* do something self-sufficient.
