Yes it's true on the Queen's wishes ...it was such a moving sight to see the people stood at the gate's crying and waving little american flags it was very emotional.

Truth.
And more than a little moving (as far as I'm concerned). Apparently, the rest of the world doesn't 'hate' America. In fact, we still represent a beacon of hope. And they're hurt by our vulnerability. They're concerned. I'm totally moved by that. I really am. It's something I never recognized as a concern to me. But, obviously, it's very real.
I wonder if this is a crossroads for us, and the way we're viewed.....
Also, I'd like to mention, anyone who has a problem with our president fighting back tears - is less of a man than one who knows what tears are. Sometimes, it takes a stronger man to let them rise - than one who can't show it (depending on the situation). He obviously did it out of concern and there was nothing but stength and determination behind it. It was the most human, and effective speach I've seen a politician make in my lifetime. This guy has the guts to let you see that. Every day I grow more and more secure that we have the RIGHT guy in there to deal with this. He understands YOU. And he understands what needs to be done. AND, he'll get it done.
I, for one, think that was one of the finest moments in American history as I know it. That was reality. That was a mirror on what YOU'RE feeling. And that's all I have to sayy about thaaaaaat.
