Is it true that most men have had homosexual experiences?

I was reading somewhere that most men have had homesexual experiences. It said that this includes heterosexual men and that these experiences were often their first sexual experiences. Do you think that is true? I found it really interesting; I asked some of my guy friends about it and they said that it isnt true...but i doubt they would confess to me!

they most likely don't want to admit it................

I know i did at a very young age, and wouldn't mind experimenting again.....

My first sexual partner-involved encounters were with other boys. They were handy and we were horny. ;)

I don't think that most men have had homosexual experiences. I would beleive that most if not all men have had homosexual thoughts though.

Honestly, saying that most men have had a homosexual experience is rather like saying all cheerleaders are sluts.

There is a different between statistics and sterotypes! I just think its interesting adn a bit of a suprise.

most > 50%

I know I did a lot of playing with male friends as a youngster... also have had one homosexual experience as an adult.

Sometimes I wish that was the case. I think they'd know more about their own pleasure and what things that someone else can do for them that turn them on. Not that I'm saying that strictly hetero men don't know these things, but I think they have a little less, ahem, experience.

Among other things, it probably depends on what they consider a sexual experience. There are probably a fair number of men who had a session of "I'll show you mine if you show me yours" when they were boys (and I'm even dubious about that being the majority of the male population)

*shrugs*, it seems improbable.

Most? Nah. If you're going to say that most means over 50%, it's not going to be "most" guys. Many guys, some guys, a lot of guys...sure. But most? Nah.

I think it true that most men have wondered and maybe 50% fantasize. And a few of us have experiences and remain attracted to women.

I don't really believe that. Heck, I'm gay and I didn't even have that kind of experience when I was young.

Yeah I don't believe that either. I'm straight but I've had my cock sucked by a guy as part of a 3some. Never sucked a cock myself though, the closest I've come was a snog with a bloke in a club and a bit of a fumble with each other's tackle.

Didn't really do anything for me though, other than confirm to me that I was straight heh.

I don't know, it's rather sickening, but then again it's so obviously bull patooey that I am not that upset that it is there.

Seriously hope he is not a preist or teacher though.

i don't think it's an appropriate post. i think it's a generalization made by someone who has fantasies about young boys. and if you delete it, please delete this too since it won't have any relevance.

since i'm not a guy, i can't speak from personal experience, BUT i've had boyfriends. one of my ex's first experiences was fooling around with one of his male friends. but he didn't like it so he stopped. another one of my boyfriends sucked cock, and had his sucked by someone. no anal penetration, but fooling around. i only have one other aquaintance who has had a homosexual encounter - and for him there's no sucking, no kissing, just anal sex, because he likes anal penetration. that's three people i know out of all the people i've had close friendships with, which is a huge number. so based on that, i'd say it's not a huge percentage. but more people than some prudes might think ;)

It would also likely depend on the definition of a "homosexual experience".

I kissed a friend on the cheek when I was younger. Does that count?

good point.

no way to ever know

truth is, there is no way to ever really know. Even "close friends" don't share that kind of history. What would be really nice to know is; how many men and women would engage in same gender sex IF the were no social prejudices against it? My personal thinking is that most would. But, I always have a tendency to think others think like me (which isn't true!)

Many have

Many have done this, but won't admit to it. Most guys, I am not sure that would be true. Backyard campouts have lead to many guy/guy experimenting.

I fooled around with another boy my age when I was younger. We didn't really know what we were doing but it felt good. I don't even know how it started but now that I'm looking for my first adult bi experience it is so hard to come by.
