I get board with my own AV(s) sometimes - which is why I change them around a bit, depending on my mood. But I've used the same 3 or 4, just on a rotating basis. I've been thinking of coming up with a couple of new ones for a change...

However, I also like the idea of recognizing/associating a person with their AV - there is a certain amount of association/memory involved with that and a certain level of comfort ("hey, I know you!")... a certain familiarity that I like.

Some people change their AV's regularly yet stick to a certain theme or style so even though their AV changes I can often guess who the poster is without reading their name (or post) - just by looking at the AV... or at least narrow it down to a few people.

As for you, CH - you really should do whatever rocks your boat. Do you feel comfortable, happy with your AV? I'm guessing not entirely, or you wouldn't have asked the question. So what's your mood in 2002?

I like lavy's suggestion - if you come up with a few alternate AV's but stick to the crystal theme then you can match your AV with your mood... change it when you feel like it - and still have a theme that's very much your own.

You might have a crystal for different moods? Horny... relaxed... pissed off... whatever...

Or you could (or I could for you) - retouch your current AV to have it in different colors, perhaps?

I tend to like to change my pics a bit, depending on my moods and feelings. I think crystals are beautiful, and to use different ones would be an exciting theme to follow. Different colors; different moods.
