I honestly did not watch the trial. However, I had about 5 friends who did, and everyone of them thought they Zimmerman was guilty at the start. After seeing and hearing the evidence, everyone of them now thinks he is innocent....

so if there are riots, it is going to be by people who are uninformed and motivated by pure racist intentions......most likely not even from the region

No, if anything we should riot about the NSA, patriot act and civil liberties that have been taken away.

Even our right to peaceable assembly is a bit questionable right now so rioters could be charged with terrorist acts.

I think the racial part is just something that has been concocted by the POTUS and the CBC and a few professional black rabble-rousers, who have now started to back down somewhat. To answer your question - no, it is not alright to riot. If you want to picket the courthouse or something like that, that is your right, although I would consider it to be a waste of time that might be better spent reading smut here.

I think Zimmerman will be found not guilty. There has been enough reasonable doubt cast that I think a conviction would be wrong. But, if you're a black kid that knows the law is biased against you, and anyone that disputes that hasn't looked at the facts, you're going to be pissed if he gets off. The whole thing would have been dropped if the DOJ hadn't gotten involved to promote this thing as an election year issue. Then it turned out Zimmerman isn't even white. They even screwed that up.

It's not ok to riot, which is why the black community isn't planning to do so. I think they're making the right choice in protesting through economic avenues.
