Is it just me, or are there more trolls/spammers/fools around here than normal?

I mean, that white power thead seems to pop up every week or so, but I've been seeing email spammers more and more often.

I haven't been here that long, so chalk it up to nonexperience, but where are the moderators?! I mean no disrespect to the mods of lit, of course, nor do I wish to get myself banned, but something needs to be done!

So, if any mods can see this, please crack down a little harder on these wasters of bandwith!

It really lessens the whole lit personal experience for me, and I'll bet I'm not the only one either.

No one likes to log on, and see white supremist propaganda on our beloved boards.

Not sure what the troll / spam policy is here. I guess maybe the same rights that allow most of us to post whatever we want also extend to the trolls and spammers.

Then again I have been known to be wrong before!

There is that little button down in the left corner of every post. I wonder if anyone ever uses it, or if it would do any good. YMMV

I never even knew what that button was for. All I know is today i reported a spam post to bluespoke and it was fixed immediately.

The little button in the upper right-hand corner does work. Threads will be removed within 24 hours if you use it.

As for the policy here, spamming is not allowed. They don't overly enforce the situation, but out of respect for Literotica, most people understand and follow this.
(Yes, I read toooooo dang much for my own good sometimes! :D )

I think the best policy would be not to reply to these threads. Even if they are "telling them off" posts, it effectively bumps them back to the top, where they want to be. If everyone ignores them, eventually they will get the idea.

Just my two-cents :)

Good policy, and thanks to everyone for the left button news.
If knowing is half the battle, apparently clicking one button is the other half.

That's sort of what I assumed. I've been on a few other boards that were much more heavily moderated, but none of them had the glory that is the ignore feature....

Unfortunately the ignore feature is overcome by the white supremacist poster creating new identities.

Hey. Thanks for the heads up. I was wondering how to report dumbasses.

Just a quick follow up on this. The button does in fact work. Matter of fact, just a few minutes ago two posts that I click the button for disappeared within minutes!!

It works, Use it!!
