Is it discrimination?

Recently a friend mentioned how much she hates shaving her legs but isn’t ready to commit to laser hair removal. I asked my esthetician (who removes my back hair, of course) how much a leg wax would cost. She informed me it’s $75.

So I asked if that was for one leg or two. She looked at me like I was crazy - which I am - and then said she had never been asked that. I asked if she would only charge half if a person only had one leg.

Am I being discriminatory for thinking it should be? And how rude of you to think I was going to accuse my esthetician of discrimination!

Let's not forget the major point here. Who would get their legs waxed??? Ouch. Let along for $75 dollars. My eyebrows may just meet in the middle someday because I cannot stand to pluck them or have them waxed.

I used to get waxed at the V and it wasn’t awful. No idea how the legs would feel. But my philosophy was you want it like that you pay for it. But now I’m doing well to brush my hair.

Yes it is discriminatory. Remember that phantom hair still grows on the missing leg and must be removed along with the hair on the remaining one. There will be real pain for each leg and that is what you pay for.

Laser hair removal for an entire leg would take a lifetime, unless you have really short legs. Are I being discriminatory for thinking you have stumping legs?

Working out the discount could get really complicated, depending on the stump length. I'd assume they'd want the stump done too...
