Now in this case we’re not talking about a superhero who duplicates as part of their power, we’re talking someone who unintentionally multiplies and the duplicate stays…but no one knows who the duplicate and original is or if it matters.

So in this case our lead is a happily married man who wakes up to two copies of his wife. Wives wake up and are utterly baffled. Though fortunately they don’t decide to force an “you got to shoot one of us” scenario, and decide to get looked at by a doctor. They are indeed perfectly identical: even scars, tattoos, and stretch marks are all there. Not much the doc can do so he sends them home. Wives are actually able to come to some agreements, taking turns and different duties…everything seems great until they both lean in for a kiss from their husband.

Yeah, wife is okay with many things but not sharing her husband, even with herself. She/they eventually are okay with kissing but unlike chores and cooking, they refuse to take turns with sex. Husband tosses out the idea of a three way but wives then tell him: “sure…but who are you fucking first?” And he withdraws his idea.

So the days go on and each of them start going crazy from the lack of sex. The wives even try to see if they can replicate whatever made them duplicate so there are two husbands, but it doesn’t work. Husband of course is going crazy, especially as both of his wives are trying to seduce him and it’s taking all he has to just not flip a coin and go.

Yeah, they are perfect duplicates. Until they woke up as duplicates every memory was the same. Maybe they even need a few minutes to get out of synch once they wake up.

Assuming the duplicate is really closer to a split there is no original. As for the morality of it the real issue is that they are going to drift apart. Depending on their age and how much time they spend together the split will happen sooner than later. I mean lets skip back a decade just so say that Sally 1 gets hooked on the Arrowverse, Sally A (as to not be inferior to Sally 1) gets hooked on Supernatural and Stranger things.
