Is Hairy the New Shaved?

I remember seeing Marilyn Chambers in the late 70s/early 80s and her beautiful little coiffured heart-shaped pubic patch. Other than a "bikini trim" that was the first time I'd seen sculpted pubic hair. This look was definitely one in a million.

So now hairy is in the minority.

I think someone should make a documentary on the practice of shaving one's pubic hair that started in the 90s and progressed to bald in the 00s. I find it fascinating. I mean I'm from the 80s and it was pretty much unheard of with the girls I was dating.
