Is frogging the new black?

Vetteman's frogged out? Are you sure he's not posting in the Politics Board still?
 
JAJ gave his reasons in his thread. I don't know about the other one, I put him on ignore months ago.
 
I'm sure Vette would never want to be compared to anything that's black.


His post in the last thread he started on the Politics Board is still there, but his av and title are gone. I don't know what's going on, but as of now I can't say I'm against it.

I wonder how much work it is to do that. Like I hope she has an algorithm or something that she can just type into a box "make all posts =" what she wants all the user's posts to be noted as. If it takes a bit more effort... I wonder if she only goes back a couple years and just kind of figures nobody will go looking for that user's posts that far back. I'm tempted to find a really old vetteman thread. But he posted a lot so the farthest back his thread creation goes is freaking July last year.

There are different levels of oblivion. If your posts are frogged, it looks just like someone did nothing here but post :p the whole time (I can't remember offhand if your original posts that someone else quoted stay or not, because it's been a while since I've seen a mass frogging). Their username stays, and I think their member page stays (though those are easy enough to edit on one's own).

But other people just get deleted completely. Here's a page from the original blurt thread -- note the last post on this page:

If someone quotes you it stays up unless they edit I think.

Maybe Laurelle has a different system now? No clue. I don't get techy stuff but it's an interesting question for her.
