Is drug use permitted in literotica stories?

Hi. It's a bit of a query that I had. What if one or more characters in a literotica story happen to abuse drugs? Would such a story be accepted? Or is there a rule against mentioning any form of drug use in literotica stories?

Let's see. The characters in my stories have smoked weed and taken magic mushrooms, and the stories have gone through with no complaint from the mods. They've never used harder drugs than that?

I have had a few comments about how the character's drug use met with disapproval, but that's it.

One more thing: what exactly do you mean by "abuse"? Seen in the harshest light, any use of drugs, including alcohol and tobacco, is "abuse." Seen in a more benevolent light, "use" is "abuse" only when in impairs the ability of the character's health or ability to function in society. In a legalistic light, it's only abuse if it's illegal. That's why I tend to shy away from the term; its interpretation relies too much on the mind-set of the reader.

Plenty of it going on in my story here A Tale of Two Parties. Including incorporation of drugs into a sex scene. Had comments about various things but never about the drug use.

No such rule. In fact, drug abuse is kind of the premise of my most recent Sci-Fi story. And it's key to some of the best writing I've ever seen on Lit. So go ahead and let your character snort, shoot, huff, smoke, or pop Whatever you like.

I find it really helps when I'm stuck on a plot

Good to know. I was thinking of a scenario just the other day where characters might toke up, but I didn't know if the devil weed was verboten here.

Just shows the benefits of soap and a good shower. 👏. Or have I misunderstood? 😂. Seriously, it’s statements such as that I want to hear. 👍. Many years ago, back in the 70’s, a good friend of mine thought he could handle taking drugs. He died because he got it wrong. How many have been like him? So I applaud anyone who has managed to escape.

I've had a bunch of characters who've done and sold drugs.

They can even do it when they're underage, so if you're trying to show they're reprobates from an early age, but you can't have them take off their knickers until they turn 18, then just have them snort their way through high school if you want. The readers will draw their own conclusions.

Big virtual hug. Getting clean is about the hardest thing a person can do. I was addicted to tobacco for 25 years, been clean of that the last 25. And I've had some friends flirt with heroine, and thankfully most of them came out the other side. As for the rest of them, I miss them terribly and I wish they were around to hear me say it.

I don't drink much anymore, and I haven't been high for over ten years. That having been said, a considerable number of my characters still do. I have never had a story rejected on the grounds of drug use, and it's in more than half of my stories. So as far as I am concerned, there is no drug rule.

I give you a big virtual hug. You have a whole army of friends who are on your side, even Litsters whom you've never met. Stay healthy and sober for us, too!

And I knew Jehoram when he was giving up smoking. That was much rougher than we imagined, and he was not easy to get along with at all when he was going through withdrawal. Now, fifty years sober, and he's a pussycat (again)!

And a couple of the friends he mentioned were my friends, too. I miss them a lot. Sometimes I see them in my dreams, doing what we used to do together.
