Donald Trump has been dropped from Forbes Wealthiest 400 list
In 2011 his wealth was calculated by Forbes to be $2.9 billion. Ten years later it is now calculated as $2.5 billion. A drop of $400 million may not seem so much, but if he had cashed up in 2011 and invested the lot in Index linked securities he would be worth $6.5 Billion today. That adds up to monumental levels of Business incompetence, considering that there has been greater increase in the value of the stock market in the past decade than any other, ever.
He went through 11 bankruptcies in that period, (mainly in Casinos) ran a racketeering so called University and lost a packet on golf clubs and resorts.
Then he got elected in 2016 on the basis of his business skills!
Going forward. he has personally guaranteed massive loans due in 2021/2023 and clearly lacks the cash flow to pay them; and who knows what his tax liabilities may be.
It seems to me that there is already a race on: can Trump win in 2024 or will his creditors catch him before he can add further political catastrophes to his personal financial muddles? I don't know whether a bankrupt can be elected to the Presidency, but am pretty certain that if Trump could, he would use the office to protect his financial hide.
