or has Bush given up?

Iraq and Iran are making noises to try to head off an American invasion, but as to the main man himself. Where is he?

And another thing. I had a closer look at Bush's figures on defence and out of a total of a $38 billion increase next year (that's about $14 billion more than Britain's total of $24 billion) there's only $7.8 billion for missile defence. Exactly the same as this year.

What? Have all those rogue nations decided to chuck in the towel?

Or is Bush having second thoughts on that as well?

I really don't know how a President can dither around so much.

Maggie Thatcher used to do that as the UK slid into massive debt.

But she could be forgiven.

She was a woman!

uh, make no mistake, uh

he can run but he can't hide

we gonna get him

dead or alive

heck, we don't know if he's dead and buried in some cave

and frankly I don't care

but we gonna get him

and any other states that harbor terrists, they are terrists too.

I'm putting the whole world on notice

you are either with us or again us

And that goes for PP too

$7.8 billion for missile defense is a nice piece of change. I'm sure if they needed more, they'd put it in the budget. If Tony wants to kick in a couple of billion, we'll take it.

That's all the cash we've got left!

I'll hold a collection if you like...

But you're right. The critics of Missile Defence reckon it's going to cost at least $210 billion over the next ten years.

As Bush seems be following the Margaret Thatcher Manual on 'How To Bankrupt A Country in Three Easy Lessons', be prepared for tax increases once the election's out of the way...

Neither rain nor sleet nor snow etc.

Don't worry, Geraldo Rivera hasn't given up yet.

None of the sources I usually use even mention the guy now. Everyone's gone back to worrying about the state of their own countries.

Except Afghanistan of course, they haven't got a country to worry about.

"Now Mohammed if we move this rock over to there and shift that bomb casing on top of it, it'll make a great little memorial..."

We both know that if he was smart, he'd have buggered off long ago. You aren't likely to find him in any Afghan cave, more likely at the Haj in Mecca or renting an apartment in NYC.

Actually, he has. He got bored with Afghanistan and went over to Somolia to cash in on Black Hawk Down.

If he walks through my yard, I'll be sure to tackle him and tie him up for the government to detain :D

bin laden

hi all !

He's probably shaked up with sadame husane or is it insane!

there probably the ones making weapons for mass destruction.

Thousands of Loyal Saudi Spies

Are diligently scouring the desert near Mecca for him.

A thousand dedicated Pakistani Secret Police are searching the mountains (and avoiding future blast fallout) for him.

A Hundred Thousand Special Chinese Agents are beating the bush in Panama and Cuba for him.

A hundred America soldiers are breathing the steam of the Phillipean Jungle looking for one Kansas Missionary couple as well as bin bin baybee.

A Thousand thousand loyal Democrats are checking every nook and cranny in the Bush Administration looking to forgive and forget bin bin baybee...

And one lone ppman offers to pay more taxes to aid their efforts and keep himself at home.

One day you criticize Bush for rushing into a missile defense program that may actually reduce the prospects of world peace rather than increase them (a valid defensible point), but then the next you criticize Bush for what seems to be lack of action on that same program you criticize.

You'd think that you'd understand the absurdity of this kind of "damned if you do, damned if you don't" kind of illogic given your tagline of "If they run they're Taliban. If they stay put, they're Taliban", but apparently not.

You're making progress, though, Peeps. At least you're doing some research. Just try to have some logical consistency to your arguments. ;)
