Irina Slutskaya

LOL!

I thought that, myself, Toddly...

and apparently, she's the subject of the latest Olympic controversy.

ohhhhh, brotherrrrr....

I had to read that name last night a few tiems to make sure it was actually what I thought it said, and sure enough it was.

Now can we do something about the sore losers of the "Russian Federation"? We should have won this and that, we bribed the judges, and we STILL didn't get the gold, WTF?

Fucking cry baby losing cheaters. Who needs 'em anyway?

While we're on the Olympics, ALL pro atheletes should be banned from the games! NO exceptions, it was SUPPOSED to be about NON pro's from the beginning, but then everyone got greedy for the "Gold".... so again, WTF?

Just my rant for the day, (so far)

Lo

Ohhh, don't get me started...

I love watching the figure skating, but I really really hate how subjective the whole scoring doo-lolly is.

Give 'em some speed skates--the first one across the line wins it

They tried that. People got tired of watching college retreads lose to East Bloc "soldiers" whose only duty was to win medals, while the best athletes in the world were barred from participation. I think the Olympics should feature the best competitors in every sport, and if a sport has a large following it will almost certainly become a profession for its players. If you don't care for this, there are dozens of sports that don't attract much money but are still part of the Olympics. But without allowing athletes such as ski racers to earn some money from endorsements and event purses, the level of skiing in the Olympics would be ridiculously poor. And then you wouldn't watch anyway.
