A helicopter carrying Iran's president apparently suffered at least a hard landing, if not a crash. The president was accompanied by his foreign minister and several other government officials.

There are Presidents and Presidents. The Iranian President, whoever he is from time to time is answerable to the Supreme Religious Leader of the last 30 years Ali Khamenei (who incidentally is almost 4 years older than Biden) Their President is important but has no unbridled authority on anything.
