You should do a proper Mensa one. I strongly suspect that they give you about 10 points or so just to flatter you and make you more likely to join and give them money.

IQ results are a bit odd as a rule anyway. There are people much smarter than me who have a lower IQ simply because I have a talent with logic puzzles.

I don't think there is an online one for Mensa. I think you have to send away.

The 'smartest' member (IQ about 200) had the personality of a cabbage. His just walking into a room sucked all the joy out of it.

I've found that IQ is just as important as common sense. I've met some technically brilliant, book smart people that didn't have enough common sense to fill a thimble.

Hmm. I got 25/30 but that doesn't say anything. Four of the ones I got wrong dealt with unscrambling, rearranging and generally manipulating in English - a language I haven't really had the opportunity to use actively in 9 years.
