Invocation for Exploration: or Writer Seeking Stories

Alright I have been working too much on Geeks and need to strech my fingers, so everyone who thinks my style would work well with the way they want one of their stories to go, post the story and if you have a prefered plot let know, and I shall try to write about a thousand words on up to the first seven submissions (if i get as many). Basically for me there are too many stories I'd like to add to and I need something narrow the field.

I might do more depending on my freetime and muse but this seems a good starting place.

Well, frankly a little exploration of the story threads might clairify these quetions, but I'll answer them as briefly as I can. And Zingiber or Torg, if you feel you have more to say about either character, feel free to do so.

Ellen is a girl who has found in her roommate Amy, and the college a place to explore her lesbian/bisexual feelings. Previous to going to college, Ellen had alway had these feelings, but pretty much kept them to herself or possible one or two very close friends.

There is some mystery running through some of the threads as to exactly how far along Ellen's relationship with Amy has come, or even if it continues to prosper. A few threads have Ellen in relationships with other girls, both named and unamed.

Amy on the other hand is a free spirit, her sexual preference is for woman, but she is not unfamilier with the other sex.

As far as Ellen's desires and intentions with Scott, I leave this to you. She was close friend with Scott in high school, and he certainly would have liked to go further with the relationship, but she mostly put him off, with one or two lapses of discipline.

Hey that hurt, I spent like 3 hrs before I even asked that question, and another two after asking the question studying the threads for clues. but thanks for the explanations I think they shall be most helpful

Hours? With a story like Weekend it would be best to spend a couple of DAYS reading it and getting to know the characters. It's just so big, but also so good.

I thought it was courteous to ask. Clearly certain writers have taken the characters in different directions, so it's interesting to hear what the original intention may have been. I for one just dove in and submitted without worrying whether it meshed with unrelated threads; I consider the writer bound only by the stories that immediately precede the new thread in the narrative. Part of the idea of CHYOO, I think, is that different choices and different options bring out different facets of the character, so that in the end the character may be completely opposite to what developed in another series of threads.

Agreed. Its my feeling that as the author and editor of a particular story one can always deny or edit a submitted thread to his liking. Submissions should be to the submitor's liking with the understanding it might be rejected.
