Open call for a wingman (or, for that matter, a winggal if such a thing exists) to grab a beer and share war stories while touring some of the local strip clubs here in DC. Since DC strip clubs are look-no-touch, this is mostly a request for someone to banter with while ogling nekkid women. I work in Bethesda, but can get downtown in the afternoon or early evening (which I find is the best time to visit the clubs)...

ive never been much for strip clubs but mi up for anything once ina while,

Clap: (Is that really a good abbreviation for your handle?)

Let me know under what circumstances you might want to check out a strip club here. DC clubs are pretty tame, since there are no lap dances. If you want to be truly ambitious, I'm thinking about a field trip sometime to check out The Block in Baltimore...

PinkOrchid:

You can get much more excitement at strip clubs in California than anything in my neighborhood!

im up for whatever. and i wasnt the one who abreviated it as that. it works fine for me though. its not liek there are women lookign to get laid here.

i was thinking that it is prety important that the women be hot. not always a given in strip clubs.

I think you'll find that particularly true in DC clubs, where the money isn't as good (due to the restriction on lap dancing). I've learned to live with it. Also, keep in mind that the hotter the dancer, the less likely you'll get to do anything other than just watch her dance!

Hi Roman,

WIsh I was a little closer to you, would love to keep you company :) Good luck and have fun my friend.

Mysti! How ya been?!? Thanks for stopping by to say hello. Always open to a little banter--we can just do it virtually. The scenery may not be as, um, interesting as in a strip club, but what can ya do?

I have been doing great....a little on the lonely side, but everything else is fantastic. LOL! we can definitely banter....and maybe if I make it down there, hit a couple spots together :) and of course if you ever make it up this way, I know a couple good spots we can go....lap dances and all.

Hugs, Mysti

The Block? Not without a hazmat suit my friend.

clubs

hey , you can run up 270 & hit WV clubs , couple have web sites (Huddle Club,Rt,9),horse track ,slots cheap rooms , tubbin' on the Potomac , laid back ,enjoy

cg_allstar--I know all about the reputation of The Block and the hygiene (or lack thereof) situation--as someone once said, you just need to remember to drink something strong enough to kill its own bacteria!

breezinon--Have heard good things about WV clubs, but so far no opportunity to travel that far just to check out the clubs. Plus, DC clubs are easy to do on the cheap--all you need is $ for drinks and a wad of singles for tips...

Hi Roman!

I've always thought you would make a great bar hoppin' friend!
A voyeur and an exhibitionist out on the town... Just think of the possibilities! :)

Be grateful for the clubs you do have in DC. Believe it or not, The town, and every town in a 60 mile radius, that I live in doesn't even have a bar, much less a strip bar...

God, I miss Miami sometimes...

Have fun!

how awful where od you live?

The Blue Ridge Mountains...
Don't get me wrong, I wouldn't trade this life for any strip club, even with the hottest bodies. The peace and solitude far outweigh the negative aspects.

But it is "The Bible Belt" and these people are far more perverted in their own unique way... :) (No letters please)

Good googamooga, Image, is that really you? I had no idea that by posting a thread in the 'Personals' forum I'd find all of these Lit friends from months past coming out of the woodwork...

Enjoy your peace and solitude with nature--as you may know, I'm a city boy at heart, despite occasional detours to frolic among the wildlife;)...so I'll be sure to raise a glass in your honor next time I'm out 'on the town...'

Cheers!

Oh, that made me laugh ;) Good to talk with you again...
BTW, I've always wondered who or what Anpanman is?

HEY, ROMAN!

Have fun frolicking in DC. It sounds interesting. I've never been to a strip bar before, nor could I go with you, as my red face would cramp your style ;) Sounds like Clap will fill the bill; and he's a salary man now, too.

I hope everything else is going well for you, buddy.

Ah, you had to ask about Anpanman! You'll appreciate this...

An 'anpan' is a Japanese snack, generally a brioche-type bun filled with sweet red bean paste ('an,' coupled with the Japanese word for bread, 'pan'). Anpanman is a superhero whose head is an anpan, and can fly, etc.

Most episodes of Anpanman have the same plot:

Anpanman befriends a woodland creature.
Said woodland creature is captured by the evil Virusman, who tortures it.
Anpanman comes to the rescue, and beats Virusman soundly.
The woodland creature is in sad shape, having been imprisoned by Virusman.
Anpanman takes off a piece of his head and feeds it to the woodland creature.
Having had a piece of his head consumed, Anpanman is weakened, and is vulnerable to a sneak attack by Virusman.
Anpanman hurries home to have a new head baked for him by his friend, Bakerman
Anpanman returns to beat Virusman once and for all (for this week), and all the woodland creatures rejoice.

And this is a cartoon for 4-year-olds! No wonder Japanese kids are so screwed up!;)

Thanks for the thoughts, WG. I'm sure that you'd add a very, um, unique perspective to any visit to a strip bar!

YIKES!

I had no idea Anpanman had such a big, freaking head! It's more the Japanese game shows that are screwing up the kids. Gotta love those Japanese!
