hello,

I am working on a project for my Office Administration class. I need to interview two more people and ask them these three questions:

What are you roles and responsibilities?

What skills and qualities do you need in order to be successful?

What types of technology changes have occurred in your organization in the last two years? and in the last five years?

I also need to know your name(first is fine), the company you work for and your title.

You may choose to post here or email me at

Thank you in advance for your help.

Samantha

This probably isn't the best place to ask these questions, but I am a professional manager, particularly a Sales Manager and you should be asking people about behavioural competencies.

BTW, being an effective Manager is all about getting the best out of your people and controlling costs as best you can.

I am an administrative professional.

I will not give my name, title, nor company for an inquiry like this. :p

As an executive assistant, my role is to do everything I can to assist the decision maker in the company.

Technology changes? Understanding MS office suite is a must. Other programs are also needed. Basic coding and webpage building is a plus. Professionals no longer take dictation. 40 wpm is not acceptable. To be on your game, you're typing about 90 wpm.

The Admininstrative Professional's job is always about managing a department and providing high level executive support.

You need a BA. Multi-lingual is a plus. You must be a manager in your own right. 5 - 10 years experience for executive support. 4+ years for administrative.
