Oh my.
One of my R.N.'s in work is named Tracy. (No not her real name. All names have been changed to protect the not so innocent.)
She asked me if I could help her adjust a piece of highly sensitive equipment. A very delicate piece of equipment if you will. Intrigued I agreed to this and accompanied her to the Nurses Station which at that time was deserted. Looking around I didn't see any equipment sitting sround and became slightly confused.
Then she asked me to help her up onto the counter. (She's a tiny little thing.) I formed a stirrup and she used that to step up onto the counter. Now I was getting a bit irritaded, especialy as she started putting a screw into the wall on which to hang a set of keys. I had been called there to help her with this?
Then I noticed something intriguing. Because of where she was putting in the screw, and where she was standing, (or bending in this case,) her backside was roughly six inches from my face. I also noticed that under her rather thin scrubs she was wearing absolutely nothing. (Those of you who wear scrubs know why I could sense this.
)
Then it happened. She shifted her weight and in doing so her foot came down on something. Her foot then slipped out from under her and she started tipping backwards. I didn't think about it, I just reacted. My hands came up and I caught her weight before she fell. Of course the point where her inconsiderable weight made contact with my hands happened to be where her pants were drawn tightest.
I got her back on her feet and she finished the job even as I was thinking about what had just happened. When she was done she turned to me and asked if I thought her work was good enough. I glanced at the screw and told her it would do just fine. Smiling she told me to catch her and hopped off the counter into my arms.
Oh my, I suddenly found my arms filled with a snuggly young lady with a very hard body. I also found that my hands had of course grabbed that point on the human body where the weight settles easiest.
After holding her for a brief minute I set her on her feet and stepped back. There was a lot of nurse packed into that tight little pckage I had been holding. Tracy smiled up at me and after thanking me turned to walk away.
I had indeed been working on and protecting, (and maybe even adjusting in some way,) some very delicate and sensitive medical gear. It's all in how you interperate that statement.
