So I'm stuck using this for awhile now, never used it before.

How does one clear the location bar? Don't see it in the Internet Options thingy.

Do you mean get rid of it completely? If so, right click on it and deselect address bar.

Should have been more clear. I want the bar there, but what I don't want it to do is when I begin typing in an address, to finish the addy for me(since it's previously been viewed).

I think it is under

(you have to in IE 4.x or 5.x or 6.x)

Tools ->>>> Internet Options ->>>>>> Advanced

and I think it is a "pickbox" under the various options you can turn on and off.

I probably am wrong as I am dead tired but figured I could help ya out looking in a place where I think it is at without too much investigation. :)

To adjust AutoComplete settings

You can configure AutoComplete to save and suggest only the information you want. You can choose whether to use AutoComplete for Web addresses, forms, and passwords, or not use it all. You can also clear the history for any of these.

In Internet Explorer, on the Tools menu, click Internet Options.
Click the Content tab.
Under Personal information, click AutoComplete.
Select the check boxes for the AutoComplete options you want to use.

If it wasn't for Lynx I probably wouldn't have found Lit ;)

Really...lol. We are talking about the same thing right? The Unix text-based browser? LOL.
