I don't think I've ever actually read the forum rules, yet I've managed not to break any of them.

And I like the idea of expecting people to edit their own posts instead of having it removed by a mod. Kind of ups the level of personal responsibility.

It would probably take a competent programmer only a few hours to write a computer program that deletes all his/her posts. It is a fairly trivial task. I have never written a program that accesses web pages, I might give it a go some time.

It must have been a lot of work to delete that many posts from two long time posters last week, or Laurel/Manu wouldn't have added it.

I'm not sure if I like the rule or not, I have to think about it. In the end it doesn't matter anyway, we don't make the rules here. We just need to follow them as guests to the site.
