German movie "Punish Me"

This is from a German movie titled "Verfolgt", or "Punish Me" as the American DVD was titled. I found the clip on a site that lillylicious posted, and figured I would post it here for comment.

The clip is on Youtube, so no hard-core content, but it is still not work safe. It does contain naked male backside, and possible unfocused flashes of a penis . Tread carefully if the sight of a naked guy might make you catch teh ghey.

The more I learn and see of this type of relationship, the farther out I feel. It is a scene like this that makes me literally wonder all the more.

No matter, it still raises the torch.

I think the imagery is brilliant. Black and white is perfect for this, the young man is, as many of the ladies have mentioned, very good looking, and the actress is a lovely lady of 50 (well, the actress was 49 at the time of shooting, but the character says 50).

I find both of them to be plausible in their respective roles vis a vis D/s, and I really like the interaction. And must say the scene at the end of the clip where he comforts the woman is especially touching. Overall, I rather like it.

The actual story gets complicated, as she is a probation officer, and he is a troubled 16 year old involved in petty crime. She gets the lad a job in her husband's auto repair shop, and the relationship starts. The boy is the aggressor, frankly offering himself in sexual submission to her.

Her marriage is fractured and dying, as her daughter was the only real connection she had with her husband, and the daughter has moved out. The boy offers her emotional contact and intimacy, and she obviously finds herself getting into the role he wishes her to take. The age difference makes as much controversy as the content of the relationship.

I'm not precisely sure how I feel about the entirety of the film having read the plot synopses. That said, the imagery and style are certainly compelling. It has apparently been released to DVD in America, as the name "Punish Me" is the American release name. If anyone does happen to see the whole film, please let us know how it is.

And, as an aside, I am the sort of person that can find power exchange erotic regardless of the genders involved or their roles. While I may not be attracted to male bottoms, I can still find the power dynamic between these two compelling.

NOTE: To those wondering about the age issue and Lit's rules, in Germany, 16 is the age of consent for a partner over 21. The relationship depicted is thus legal in Germany. And the actor is older than he is portraying, as he was 23 in 2006, the release date of this film.

I put this up as it is a wide release film, including DVD sales in the US. If it is legal for sale here in the States, my assumption would be that it is acceptable fodder for discussion on Lit. If not, I will redact the age, edit posts, or simply not be irritated if the thread has to be axed. As I said, my assumption was that legal for sale in the US means that it is okay by Lit's conventions as well. If not, my bad, and I will accept whatever modifications the mods require.
