About nine out of ten live in the northern hemisphere, and most of those live in the eastern hemisphere.

It's a commonly held belief, although an erroneous one, that there are, in fact, any interesting facts about humans.

Science has proven that this antiquated belief was simply the product of humans' attempt to understand humans. Like teeth attempting to bite themselves.

It will be interesting to me to see if there are people here who disagree with that. I thought it could be an interesting thread. We shall see.

I've just finished reading a book about how far/fast humans can possibly get, with regard to sports, physiologically.
Very interesting.

Of course there will be.

The same sort who, hundreds of years ago, disagreed with Copernicus and Galileo.

There are those who, even today, believe the earth to be flat. Some believe in ghosts. Or a thousand other fantastical things.

Well, I really am interested, for example, in learning if there are limits as to how far a human can jump, or throw, or how fast a human can run. I'm sure there are limits, but I don't know what they are, or how close we are to reaching them already.

I think there must be lots of interesting things others here know about humans that I don't know. As I said, we shall see.

It's more of a fact about the planet, not humans. Since 78% of the Earth's inhabitable land is above the equator, it's no surprise to find most of them living there.

You mean inhabitable by humans, of course.

Well, then, you could have said, "Facts about humans which you think I might find interesting."

Or you could have said, "Facts about humans which you find interesting."

Imprecision in language has been the root cause of many human disasters throughout history.

I intended both.
