Interest Check/Writer Discussion Thread for "A Friend of a Friend"

You are a desperate person ... for what ever reason you wish to invent. Maybe you have money problems, maybe you're strung out on drugs, maybe you cheated on a spouse and are afraid of the affair being discovered ... maybe you're a sex addict and need a fix! (Sorry, just had to throw that one in!)

My primary character is sort of a "liaison", always out and about looking for what else ... desperate people. I work for a secretive, wealthy man who has the connections to get just about anything done. You need something done...? He can get it done for you.

Writers, develop your character, including their background and needs, and PM them to me. They don't have to be overly developed at this point; simple is good enough to get started. Then, I will either create my own characters to interact with you or another writer will. But we'll make sure someone is there for you!

Stories don't have to be sexual in nature, but we are on Lit', so I'm sure some will be.

Bump ...with a couple of possible story ideas. (You will notice that all of these ideas are for female characters because I need a female character to get started; but once the role play is up and running, we will need male writers, too -- for both "desperate souls" and the people they interact with -- and the unused story ideas below can be altered to serve those male writers (or additional female writers):

1. A woman strung out on crack wants off. My Liaison needs to know who her supplier is ...and after that the supplier's dealer. Will she be willing to risk her life asking dangerous questions to be guaranteed a fresh, clean start?

2. A woman addicted to gambling owes a Bookie more than she could possibly ever repay in cash ...which, of course was the bookie's goal. My Liaison steps in to save the day ...but, of course, his employer's going to want something in return, too. Who will she be more likely to serve to get out from under this financial black cloud?

3. A woman is about to lose her home -- or already has -- and my Liaison steps in to help her either get her home back or find a better place for her and her children.

4. Your female character wants someone out of her life -- a brutal husband or boyfriend maybe -- and she has been trying to hire a hit man. My Liaison finds out and takes the job ...sort of.

5. These are just ideas, of course; trying to stimulate thought and get some bites at the story.
