The story I'm writing now is for a very, very special friend, so I won't submit it here but the concept is quite interesting:

The Story has 11 parts. Part 1 is the beginning, part 11 is the end. The other nine parts have no order and at the end of each part the reader has to choose which way he wants the story to go. At the end of the beginning the reader may have to choose if she is melting in his embrace or if she takes him by the shoulders and throws him onto the bed.
It took some time to figure out which parts would fit together and to ensure there are no dead ends, but it's quite fun anyway... :D

Since it is only for my friend, I plan to record the whole story and load it into an mp3-player... :D

the joys of "shuffle" play? :>

seriously, that sounds really cool. and here i thought you were talking about a hyperlinked story or something... :>

Thats a cool thing to do. it reminds me of the old choose your own adventure books when I was young. Or the MadLibs we would do on long road trips in the car.

I also like silverwhisper sugestion.... good ideas.

Hmm, don't they have a section on lit now involving interactive stories? I've never checked it out, but I swear its there...

Is Little Bird an Anais Nin reference, perchance?
