I can't be the only one, can I? So why is it so hard to find someone who wants to have an intelligent conversation?

Here are the basics on me: 27 year old BBW. Long brunette hair, pale skin, green eyes, my license says 5'10" but I'm actually an inch and a half shorter. I am a little on the shy side, but easily warm up to the right kind of person.

I am looking for someone with a brain. I want to talk to someone about everything from their pet peeves to current events. Of course I wouldn't be on this site unless I wanted to talk about sex, but it has to be more than "wut are u waring." I want to really get to know someone and have conversations about their experiences and desires. Ideally I would like this to be an ongoing friendship. I am currently dating someone but we have some severe compatibility issues in the bedroom, so you have to be comfortable with that and know that this is NOT going any further than messaging, IMs, texting and maybe some phone calls. If I admit that I have never played a Resident Evil game do I have to turn over my "Zombie Lovers Association of America" card? lol My zombie gaming is pretty limited to Left 4 Dead 2. Beyond that I'm a huge fan of puzzle, strategy, and a few RPGs. I'm waiting with bated breath for Valve to officially announce Portal 3, I still haven't finished Skyward Sword, and I'm only ten minutes into Skyrim. Between all of that and school I should be pretty entertained. =)

Grammar is a great start. lol I don't claim to be perfect, but I can put together a sentence and know when to break a paragraph. Maybe next time I should ask for those thesis...or it is theses? On a related note, did you know that "platypodes" is an accepted form of the plural for platypus? I always assumed it was platypi.

I'm fairly certain that anyone reading your thread, must have a brain. I think you are looking for someone that is using a significant portion of theirs, and using it correctly.

lol I will sit through a sitcom or comedy movie if someone else wants to watch it, but I seldom find them funny. Sometimes I like them, but I just really hate sifting through all the really terrible stuff to find the handful of good movies. I do like a few stand up comedians and I loved reading the comics as a kid. As for cats on youtube...of course I like watching funny cats on youtube. The kittens riding a roomba makes me giggle every time.

Just to be clear, I'm not trying to flatter you or your intelligence. I've met other intelligent people on Lit, many of which have been quite delightful to chat with.
